Lean out the process flow to improve cycle time.

Six Sigma – For new process creation, or improvement processes where the end solution is unclear. Six Sigma statistical methods are used to measure and analyze current trends, and make data driven decisions to achieve the optimal process. This method extends beyond implementation to control the process and manage future change as the process or company evolves.

Lean Six Sigma – For well defined processes that contain waste, and there is a desire to change the process completely. Value stream mapping is used to identify the value and waste in the current process and then Six Sigma statistical methods are used to measure and analyze current trends, and make data driven decisions to achieve the optimal process. This method extends beyond implementation to control the process and manage future change as the process or company evolves.
