Requesting time-sensitive review on Draft:2023 Las Anod conflict[edit]
- Draft:2023 Las Anod conflict - Wikipedia is a current conflict with coverage in BBC News Somaliland section and The Guardian's Somalia section. Could this article be draft-reviewed in a timelier way by somebody with AfC reviewer rights in Current events project?
- There is a dead redirect named "Draft:Second Battle of Las Anod" that could be deleted.
NB: the area is not strictly Somaliland at all - it is disputed between local clans with Puntland's ideological support, and Somaliland's colonial border claim.

The article at 2023 Las Anod conflict provides an imbalanced view of the conflict:
This page is about a current conflict involving war crimes. The article now misinforms readers that the Somaliland Army is fighting Al-Shabaab group which is false per talk.
Please review talkpage and try fix the article so that it represents valid neutral sources on the conflict and follows infobox policy.

Toronto mayoral by-election[edit]

Misleading heading about attacks on civilians in western Russia[edit]
Currently in the current events box for Saturday, August 26, 2023, under Armed conflicts and attacks, it lists a story about a report of attacks on civilians in western Russia in this format:
* Russian invasion of Ukraine ** Attacks on civilians in the Russian invasion of Ukraine *** 2022–2023 western Russia attacks **** The governor of Belgorod Oblast says that Ukrainian shelling and usage of cluster munitions injured six civilians in Urazovo. (Al Jazeera)
Why is a story about alleged attacks by Ukraine on Russian civilians in Russia being listed under the subheading of "Attacks on civilians in the Russian invasion of Ukraine", which is an article exclusively about attacks by Russia on Ukrainian civilians in Ukraine? That is the opposite of what this Al Jazeera story is about, even if it's about the same war. --VolatileChemical (talk) 02:49, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
